CANCELLATION POLICY:
72-hour cancellation policy
Late cancellations are a disappointment for everyone- for you, for me, and for the potential clients who are trying to get in for a session sooner versus later. Please understand that a missed session or a cancellation with less than 72-hours' notice will be charged at the FULL rate of the session.
For any appointments that require a deposit, they are transferable for future appointments, but (non-refundable). The deposit holds your spot personally and cannot be canceled at any time once the deposit is put down.
-1st warning. If you must cancel within the 72 hours you will have to repay to rebook, and/or will be billed/ or auto charged.
-2nd warning. You will not be rescheduled.
NO CALL, NO SHOWS
-Will not be rescheduled. And will be sent a fee of the requested service. Or automatically charged. * (Includes out-of-state gigs)
DELAYS: A late fee of $20.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if the scheduled service exceeds allotted time because of client delays.
Please note, if MUA should cancel for any reason, you will be refund deposit sent by way of payment within 7-10 business days. (This excludes out-of-state bookings)
Travel fee applies to EVERY service! Including group service
after 10 miles, an additional $4.10/per mile will apply. The amount will be determined at time of inquiry. Travel fee is assessed for roundtrip travel per makeup artist. Travel fee after 20 miles is determined based on the current IRS Standard Mileage Rate, which is 57.5 cents per mile as of Jan.1, 2020.
PARKING
Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred, the pre-determined amount will be included with the invoice per the makeup artist.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BRIDAL
Policy since 2023
To secure a date, we require a 50% deposit due at the time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable/non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a booking and deposit are received. At any time, if a contract states something unlawful or illegal in it, then the contract automatically becomes null and void. If the contract parties to avoid following requirements or terms, then the contract automatically becomes null and void. If the other person fails to complete the contract; Impossibility or impracticability of performance, there will be no legal actions taken as the agreement was invalid. Brides/ bridal parties require a NON-refundable deposit to hold the special spot; once brides/bridal parties are in the books, we require 100% payment, even if canceled. Retainers also known as deposits submitted to Jue Artistry Team are non-refundable even if the contract is not submitted.
All payments are due based on engagement agreements. We accept Zelle or credit card payments for all agreements. All credit card transactions conducted by Jue Artistry Team are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways. Credit card information is not stored, and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Note: Credit Card payments are subject to a processing fee for each transaction.
The final payment is due (2) weeks before the wedding date as one payment. If final payment is not received (2) weeks prior to the wedding date the services will be canceled. NO PAYMENTS will be accepted the DAY OF THE WEDDING. The person responsible for the balance of payment is either the Client who has signed the service contract or the person he/she has indicated on the booking agreement. No exceptions!
AIRFARE AND ACCOMMODATION
All costs for travel are to be paid by the client. Costs may include but are not limited to airfare, hotel (2 or 3 nights depending on destination), transportation to and from the airport in the departing and destination city, parking in the departing and destination city, per diem for meals if not all-inclusive, service incidentals, and all taxes. If final payment is not received (2) weeks prior to the wedding date the services will be canceled. If the Artist deems that the environment is not of an adequate sanitary or safety standards to work in, the Artist reserves the right to refuse their services and the deposit will not be refunded or transferable. The person responsible for the balance of payment is either the Client who has signed the service contract or the person he/she has indicated on the booking agreement. No exceptions!
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
It is agreed that hired Makeup Artist will not be held responsible for any Acts of Mother Nature, including, but not limited to, hurricanes, floods, or storms of any kind. In the case of potential flooding, the Makeup Artist will NOT travel to location or put themselves in any unfavorable conditions. Client will receive a credit for in-studio services, totaling the balance payments made, if the event is canceled due to bad weather (this excludes the non-refundable/transferable retainer).
CAN I BOOK "JUST EYES? No, I do not book partial makeup applications.
WHAT MAKEUP DO YOU USE?
I use high-end, professional grade products to ensure the best quality of luxury service. Juvia Place, Makeup Forever, Anastasia Beverly Hills, M.A.C, Bobbi Brown and NARS are a few of the preferred cosmetic brands that I have found exceptional and are readily stocked in my professional makeup artist kit.
LIABILITY
All brushes and makeup products are sanitized before and after all makeup applications. Any skin conditions or allergies should be reported to Jue Artistry Team prior to application. Clients with known sensitive skin conditions are recommended to have the service provider perform a sample test on skin to test reaction. By booking an appointment, you agree to release Jue Artistry Team from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
USE OF IMAGES: The Artist may use on its website and/or in any advertising media is deems appropriate that is capture by the Artist. The Client also agrees to release the name and contact information of professional photographers and/or videographers used for recording any event for which the Artist has been contracted to provide services for.
